Treasure Hunter
Does a treasure hunter always have to find buried gold from pirates?
No.
Treasures Hunters share a passion for adventure to search for
knowledge of things unknown. A treasure can be a single find or large
hoard of buried coin/jewels. There is one single fact about treasure
hunting, Treasure is where you find it!
A humble man
The first thing I noticed about J.D. during our interview is how humble
he is, as we tell you his story you will read about the wonderful times
he's had, the days and weeks when he found nothing at all and the
frustration that goes along with that.
On these pages you will find:
A complete interview with J.D. and lots of pictures of his finds.
His experiances finding historical artifacts.
His love and passion for this hobby.
Media
J.D. has been featured on NBC, and 3 times on the Whites Metal
Detectors website and has also been featured in the last 2 Whites
catalogs.  He has had articles published in Western and Eastern
Treasures Magazine, Lost Treasure Magazine, he has an article
coming out soon in American Digger Magazine, his daughter and he
are in Garretts 2007 catalouge and he is working closely with a
Television series more on this in the upcoming months....
My name is: Rudy Watkins
I enjoy metal detecting, and wanted to build websites to the treasure
hunters I idolize on the forums which I'm sure many of you do. I picked
J.D.  because in my opinion he has been the best treasure hunter in
recent  years of reading the forums and is a well respected and trusted
person in the metal detecting community.
Here is the Treasure Code of Ethics that J.D.
lives by:
I WILL respect private property and do
no treasure hunting without the
owner's permission.

I WILL fill all excavations.

I WILL appreciate and protect our
heritage of natural resources, wildlife,
and private property.

I WILL use thoughtfulness,
consideration, and courtesy at all times.

I WILL build fires in designated or safe
places only.

I WILL leave gates as found.

I WILL remove and properly dispose of
any trash that I find.

I WILL NOT litter.

I WILL NOT destroy property,
buildings, or what is left of ghost towns
and deserted structures.

I WILL NOT tamper with signs,
structural facilities, or equipment.

Disclaimer: All items on this website
were found on Private Property with
Permission from the Property owners!!
