This has been one of the best hunts I've ever had the pleasure to do. This spot is awsome it was a
stage coach stop, tavern, hotel, school house and has had many other incarnations through its
lifetime.
During the Civil War it was used as a  hospital and way point. Originally it was a log cabin and
trading post it was once 2 stories high but the bottom floor is all but gone its has 5 separate
additions it was last used in 1944 as a storage place. as of this date 9/13/06 I have only detected
about 35% of the area, as you can see by some of the finds it has been challenging to detect
evertime I go there i just look around and think of all the activity that was once centered around
this place its in the middle of knowhere down a dirt road you have to cross a large creek to get to it
and there was newver a bridge built over the creek you have to drive through it. here are a few of
the finds so far I hope you all enjoy it!!....... hh all  jd
